Locality

Stellenbosch is a university town. It's surrounded by the vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. The town's oak-shaded streets are lined with cafes, boutiques and art galleries. Cape Dutch architecture gives a sense of South Africa's Dutch colonial history, as do the Village Museum's period houses and gardens.

Schools in Stellenbosch come with a long and proud history. The University of Stellenbosch is recognised as one of the top four research universities in South Africa.

Stellenbosch is in the heart of the Winelands, surrounded by majestic mountains and bountiful vineyards. Wine is the lifeblood of Stellenbosch with over a 150 wine cellars surrounding the town, leaving you spoilt for choice. The Stellenbosch Wine Route is the most popular and most visited wine route in the country. 

Fine food, beautiful hikes, wine estates, art galleries and museums, theatre, a route dedicated to families with children, the famous Stellenbosch University campus, historic routes, bookstores and libraries - to mention but a few.

De Zalze

The De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate is located on the eastern fringe of Stellenbosch. The secure, patrolled Estate, houses a 18 hole championship golf course , the Kleine Zalze award-winning winery, three restaurants, the De Zalze Lodge and the Winelands Golf Lodges.

Welgevonden Estate

Welgevonden Estate, located on the Northern outskirts of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape and with easy access to both the R44 and R304 provincial roads, is a gated residential estate which comprises close to 1000 own title properties.

Koelenbosch

Situated on the R304 and close to the N1 and surrounding arterial roads, Koelenbosch Country Estate is conveniently placed for accessibility to the Boland towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek, and just 30 minutes from Cape Town. It is, ideal for those who choose to work in the city, but live in the country.
